Just be causal ,try not to startle her and try to come across as friendly:) but if your not into bars or clubs I would recommend finding groups online that meetup for your interest and connecting there:)

To be fair, a lot of it depends on your ability to read body language as well. It’s fine to approach but if you get the sense that she’s trying to end the convo fast, or purposefully avoiding eye contact then back off. It’s creepy if you’re being pushy not because you tried or approached.
