Any advice and/or recommendations for losing weight / getting into shape? The past couple of years I’ve gained weight as I’ve recovered from an ED and now I struggle with being hungry a lot, even shortly after eating meals…

Higher fiber meals keep you full. My personal faves are potatoes with skin

Eat meals with higher protein and fiber they’ll keep you full longer without the thought of being hungry. I love potatoes, any kind of greens, and chicken. Or eat meals slightly bigger in portion than your usually eat without overeating

Drink a lot of water, it’s healthy but also keeps you feeling fuller

Eat mostly just protein it keeps you full and its what a dietitian would tell you for losing weight

Popcorn no salt or butter, celery, remove excess grease from foods, go cold turkey with sweets as one will lead to more, drink more water than you think you need

Thanks for the advice! The weird thing is sometimes I’ll eat like two servings and I’ll still get hungry an hour-ish or so later 😭

i mean listen to ur body but switch up what u eat maybe? i often eat snacks that are like crackers, but one time i was super hungry and out of snacks and ended up eating a banana, which did much more to satisfy me! remember that every food group is important; carbs give u energy, protein and fat are what build and maintain ur body, calcium helps with bones, fiber helps u digest food, sodium helps u stay hydrated by retaining water, and so many other vitamins and minerals do important things :)
