My father was a lifelong practicing alcoholic. I tried to help in whatever ways I could, but eventually had to cut off contact. He has died since. Still, I had to do it

My dad has an alcohol and gambling addiction, but he’s doing a lot better after rehab, he hasn’t touched alcohol in over 6 years
