Interests. Ask them ab their interests and talk ab yours. Find commonalities and things should go from there. If you have any good stories related to anything that comes up or with the place youre at or activity youre doing that is something you already know you have in common through the present shared experience so is usually safe

Not necessarily a first date will usually be a little awkward but the key is to roll with it and not let it make you freeze up. If convo runs dry prob means u should talk about something new or my favorite is to ask a question

the first date is just to see if there’s any kind of connection for a 2nd date.. don’t worry about impressing them or saying the perfect thing
