I fucked shit up. Promised change and then would get comfortable and go back to my old shit happened more then I want to admit. However now I’m working on it in many different ways including things like therapy. Do I have a chance to get her back? Or no?

You broke a promise. We don’t know what happened but you didn’t keep a promise, and you had a chance to work on it. You need to let her go.

Imo it’s hard to come back from this, coming from someone who came out of a relationship like that. If you can’t implement longterm change she’s only going to keep getting tired of it. Keep going to therapy and doing the work because it’s good but keep in mind there’s no guarantee that she will want to come back

She’s saying that she doesn’t understand how hard it was to change. That what she was asking for wasn’t particularly hard.
