Simply put they don’t have enough time in the curriculum. It would make parents less likely to want sex ed at all. Also some fetishes are stigmatized for a reason and should not be taught to children. In the era of the internet if a kid wants to find something out it’s really not that hard

if it is mentioned i think it should be in high school sex education. there’s no reason to discuss fetishes with young children. i had a sexual behavior college course that discussed fetishes and paraphelias in a very educational and appropriate way.
