It takes a while to get the angle right, you kind of have to point it a bit more upwards than downwards if that makes sense. You also have to make sure it goes in deep enough so it won’t start to fall out/ be uncomfortable. Often times there are diagrams that come in the box which can help a little too.

I have little baby hands, but generally I shove it in as far as my middle finger. Don’t know if that’s technically correct, but it works for me. You can put it as deep as you want as long as you still have the string out I don’t use the plastic applicators bc I’m scared to shit of the plastic being sharp

Point it towards your spine while crouched down in like a Chinese squat sort of stance. If it didn’t catch your blood then size up and experiment
