Ever since I’ve gotten with my boyfriend, it feels like everyone only sees me as an extension of him rather than us being two separate people who happen to be together. Like people ask me how things are with my boyfriend before they ask how I’m doing.

That sucks. It’s the opposite for me, if I bring up my bf everyone gets annoyed. It feels like no one knows how to handle couple. Are your own friends doing this?

That’s because your boyfriend is probably the most interesting part about you, if you want people to think of you as your own person, then develops some unique character traits
