I would just introduce yourself and say, “hey, we pass by each other a lot and I wanted to introduce myself, I’m xyz, I work in abc department!” If you’ve never spoken or been formally introduced, she probably assumed you were just making a pleasantry or talking to someone else
Okay, okay. Petty version is to always talk to the person next to her and give her side “Hey, what’s up” but most of your energy going towards the person next to her. Heathy version is, when you pass by her say her name with a good morning and give a compliment about her hair, or her shirt. Tell her that a color compliments her well. From there just slowly build it up every time.
