To clarify the question is about whether being pro-Palestine means being pro-hamas and viewing them not as terrorists but as anti-colonialist freedom fighters. Inspired by a quote:

Quote from a YouTube video: You cannot put limitations on how colonized people fight their oppressors. So no, I won't condemn Hamas the same way I wouldn't condemn the Mau Mau in Kenya, or the Nat Turner slave rebellions, or the Haitian Revolution, or the IRA in Ireland

They are not freedom fighters. They set children on fire. They are terrorists. End of discussion.

Hamas is a terrorist organization. Israel is committing horrific crimes against humanity. The people are suffering.

We’re talking about Hamas not the IDF/US army

Everything hamas has done israel has done worse for generations. When you deliberately destroy a culture the social dynamics break down and people are forced to fight to live. How is israel supposed to be resisted nonviolently or governmentally when theyre propped up by the us military? How would you suggest they fight their oppressors?

Palestinians tried nonviolence. In 2019 they did a nonviolent march to the concentration camp walls. The IDF mowed them down with machine guns
