Have you thought about doing this with a friend group instead of a husband? Because as a woman in science, I want a family but don’t want the burden of doing 90% of the work while the husband sits around not helping. So I’m thinking I might have a friend group family and maybe a partner

Im a photographer on the side and created a whole website and have had an instagram since 2022, but I just havent been able to draw in a lot of customers yet since I recently moved and lost my existing clients, but I do love that idea and will 100% try to keep this going

That’s definitely something! Maybe start by offering to do some shoots for free/low cost to build up local contacts (i heard of a new wedding photographer going to a courthouse and offering to shoot people’s courthouse weddings, ppl said yes because otherwise they wouldn’t have had a photographer, and the pics were amazing! she got a lot of traction online) depending on your niche - works for school graduation pics too because ppl always have friends and siblings who are also looking
