totally acceptable. you can dress nicely and do your hair instead if you’re worried about looking like you didn’t put effort it. that’s what i usually do :)

I e been a tomboy all my life up until my senior year of high school. I am also extremely allergic to all makeup. Do your hair the opposite way that it naturally is (curl it if it’s straight or straighten it if it’s curly). Dress cutesy. For makeup, this is my go to combo for fancy things: curl your lashes (if you want, and your lashes are a lighter shade naturally, use mascara) and use lipgloss (if you aren’t a fan of lipgloss, use some lipstick)
