I have PCOS, and I really feel ugly at times. I feel unlovable at times. After eating one meal I get super bloated and then if I exercise it doesn’t do anything towards weight loss. I’ve gained 50 lbs in the past couple of years due to PCOS. What do I do?

Okay some doctors will suck and tell you to just lose weight, which isn't so easy in the case of PCOS...maybe find a new doctor who can help you change your diet or get you on hormone medication. You might need to change your diet not to just lose weight but to help your PCOS and bloating. Probiotics are good to clean your gut which can help with the bloating but always remember a lower number on the scale isn't always a sign of health. Having PCOS can make it difficult to lose weight but

There really is not much you can do if you’re not going to get meds honestly. its not some like thing some random home thing that barely affects your hormones is gonna make much or any difference from, you need actual hormone affecting meds if you want change

Have you been talking to your doctors about this?

Ya they told me to lose weight… they said I could go on meds like metformin or birth control, but I really can’t do that cause I’m on their health insurance and they don’t like me taking meds

Like everyone can lose weight but if you have to barely eat to lose weight or something then that’s a concern

Doesn't mean you aren't healthy. So I would say do some research on foods that are anti inflamitory and help your symptoms but also getting used to your body and accepting it along the way, don't forget you're beautiful
