
I guess it’s ok but it’s a bit immature- they’re being responsible communicative adults by letting you know instead of just ghosting you, so it seems kind of lame for you to then turn around and essentially be immature/ghost when like #3 said you can just simply say something like “oh ok, thanks for letting me know, good luck” and that’s it.
Because tbh it was nice of her to not just ghost you and instead let you know she wasn’t feeling a connection. Think of how you would have felt if instead of telling you she just never spoke to you again and left you wondering what happened. So while it would essentially be “ok” to not respond, the correct thing would be to give a short reply.
