from what I’ve heard usually about three months in, then you should cease to have a period but it affects everyone differently, your body has to get used to the hormones and also get used to the foreign object that was put in it, currently it’s still trying to forcibly take it out and that’s why you’re bleeding and cramping

your ob should have given you a timeline of what is expected and what they deem as not okay. i would say it was really only bad for the first day for me, but i know when i got mine i was monitored more closely because of my family history of pmos which can sometimes mean that your body does not do well with it
