You don’t have to be with someone the entire time. Be alone and free until new ppl come along it’s only the first semester. Which is almost over anyway

Stay until you find new friend group

Join a random club. Show up to a GBM and ask people to tell funny stories about their lives. Try again with different clubs until you make a friend. Or stand outside with a sign that says “need friend”. Someone else probably feels the same.
