My fiance and I are going on a trip at the beginning of April and I need my REALID. My mom has my birth certificate but refuses to give it to me. Claiming she doesn’t have it. And I keep requesting a replacement and I keep getting denied. HELP

Are you requesting a replacement online or in person. Best option would probably be going in person to the office and requesting it

Show up to the office and show them that there is no way to book an appointment and that their system is inefficient in getting documents and file a complaint with the state.

I’ve been trying to request it online. Because the office to request it, I have to have an appointment. But there’s nowhere online for me to schedule an appointment. And! I keep trying to call the office, and it says that they’re unavailable.

Just show up anyway. Sometimes you have to find a way to talk to an actual person to get anywhere. Worst case they show you how to get an appointment online and you're still better off than you were

The only issue is, the closest Office is an hour and a half away. I’m off on Friday, so I can definitely do that. It’s just gonna be a pain in the ass.

Create a document trail, because a realid is requirement for flight travel domestically unless you want to pay for not having it which is $45 that TSA recently introduced. Especially since you need to prove identity, with a birth certificate or passport. And I assume since you don’t have your birth certificate, you may not have a passport. And they are obstructing you from getting proper identification.
