I really just disregard conversations about false allegations, sure there may be the very rare chance that a woman intentionally falsely accused a man bc she’s psychotic or evil or whatever. But in today’s culture where people seem to just commit SA thinking it’s consensual, it’s not so black and white. How many men believe they were falsely accused bc they have a misunderstanding of consent? And that’s the reality of the situation, there are many times when sex is in the grey zone of consent. 1

And while I do acknowledge false accusations can happen, we also have to consider that 98% of accused rapists will walk free. So i still think it’s more important to believe victims until proven otherwise /2
