its probably not far enough in! when inserting the applicator try to get it all the way in (so only like the pusher part is sticking out) and then push the tampon in!

if you have an abnormal hymen that might be causing the issue. i used to struggle a lot with tampons because of this

It’s not. It’s prob not in all the way or put in side ways. I always have pain in my tampons if it’s too loose or just at a weird angle
