Go to a safe different location, call him and if he threatens it say you are going to call the cops and then call the cops if he keeps saying it

if you’re worried specifically about him hurting himself, tell someone he’s close to afterwards so they know to look out for him. this removes the guilt his self harm would try to give you if he’s manipulatively hurting himself

If he threatens to hurt himself, call 911. They will keep him alive if necessary and make him feel stupid if it’s an empty threat

Yeah hun, just so you know that’s an abuse tactic. You might want to talk to the cops about this situation so they can keep both of you safe
