Sometimes it means “not ready to date you” but they don’t want to hurt your feelings or make you mad, so they pretend they aren’t dating at all

Especially if you ask for their numbers in person. Sometimes there’s actual danger in refusing to give a number. A teenager had half her nose bitten off because she turned down a guy, and there are countless videos of guys getting mad and throwing a tantrum when turned down. Many women give the number and politely decline later, for their own safety

Ig I just felt like the conversation went well, like she was laughing and asking me questions for like 6-7 minutes so it just felt like a 180 to get that text
