As for 16 that seems to be a common thing on YikYak (I’m not on much socials so I can’t speak from experience but I wouldn’t be suprised if it’s elsewhere) for men to just assume whoever they’re speaking to is a woman, and all that entails. Hopefully your comment isn’t voided because you had such a clear point and I would hope it could open maybe a few eyes that aren’t sealed shut

I'm #16 and didn't reply to your response yet. I'm sorry for assuming you were a woman, and it's absolutely true that women have it worse. I wasn't trying to minimize or diminish all the creepiness women have to face all the time. However, I was trying to make sure that anything inappropriately sexual directed towards men is just as bad as when it is to women (though it's to women 99.9% of the time sadly)

I agree to an extent, I think online 100% women get more sexualized but I think overall it's almost even. I would say women have sexualizing thoughts almost just as much, it's just not as common to see online. And even the comments women make online are way better (comparatively). But do you know what one of the most popular book genre among women is? Romance. And not the light-hearted romance either. I'd watch "the science of female gooning"
