I mean I would not necessarily encourage this person to say “you’re too short for me to think you’re attractive bye” as much as I wouldn’t encourage you to tell someone “you’re too fat to be attractive bye”. There’s a way to go about either situation without being an asshole

I said this on the other post but you can reject someone without giving them the details of why. Nothing wrong with wanting a thin or tall partner unless you’re belittling people who don’t fit that preference

So the way you likely explained it was you just simply being a dickhead. They’re just complying to a height fetish which is just as weird and also body shaming. She can just say “hey I don’t think it’ll work I’m not attracted to you in some way” and not necessarily say “ew you’re short I only date extremely tall men”

I mean… I’ll argue that saying you won’t date a fat person is BETTER than saying you wont date a short person. Being overweight is somewhat a choice. And there’s tons one can do to address it. Whereas, height is strictly biological.
