Is it valid to get a little annoyed when your friends bring up their bf in every convo? Literally every time one of my friends gets a guy this happens

I mean yeah that seems valid, every conversation seems excessive. By also being careful. I’m very careful to police mentioning my bf as much as I possibly can and I still make my friends mad or get mocked if I slip up and get too much enthusiastic about him and it sucks. I feel like there is a whole big part of my life I have to essentially conceal from my friends. Basically it’s valid to be annoyed but also remember they are your friends and they want to be able to share with you

nah, if you have to tiptoe not to piss your friends off BECAUSE you have a bf, then that’s bs. he’s still part of your life and if one mention of him sets them off, then tbh you’re better off without them. a friend would be happy that you’re in a healthy relationship, but won’t be set off by him being mentioned 1-2 times. you shouldn’t have to conceal a big part of your life.
