tbh i’ve heard good things about this. my aunt and her husband do this and have been happily married for 40+ years, it definitely has its benefits even if it sounds strange

Big thing for me is wanting to be able to decorate my room how I want it without forcing my partner to put up with a style they don’t like or being forced to live around decorations I don’t like
