when a woman says “not now”, is that a nice way of saying “no”? i can add context if you’d like, but thats the main question

We definitely need the context to determine this 🙄🙄

Because there’s certainly a difference between responding that to “do you want to go get ice cream” versus “are you looking for a relationship” 🙄

this is a girl i work with, and for a few months before her friend told me she thought i was cute. we danced around each other for a while (i work at a grocery store, and our patches don’t cross much) and i finally ask for her number. she gave it to me, but told her friend (who told me) that she had no idea if i liked her or not, so i asked her to dinner. she told me she liked my vibe, but not now as she was still getting over a past relationship.

It was a no, but i would have hope that maybe she’ll come around in her own in the future. Just stay platonic with no ulterior motives and respect for her
