Write her a letter. Be polite and complimentary. Say you think it’s possible you copied her number wrong, and if that’s the case you’d love to see her again. Don’t go back to her house and creep her out though. In your envelope, include a stamp, an envelope, and your address. Be a gentleman.

If the genders were reversed on that post then it would be encouraged. Also a gay dude hitting on a man ≠ man hitting on woman

No, you don’t go to someone’s house if they gave you a fake number. That’s rule number one of not being an enormous creep, no matter who you are

If you only speak for yourself then the word “rule” is inaccurate

It’s my rule, and I’m sure many people agree, but again, different humans make up different rules

If someone realizes someone else gave them a fake number and then shows up at their house, most ppl would find that incredibly creepy

Especially if that person is bigger and scarier than the person answering the door. Which is kinda the whole point of the big gay guy example. Idk why you’re mad about me not wanting people showing up at my house every time I try to avoid them hitting on me. It’s a totally reasonable boundary, and you’re welcome to set that boundary around YOUR house too.
