I’m scared, it’s only been a few days since I had sex but I’m scared I’m pregnant somehow, we used a condom but it went inside me and I took the pill but I have been researching and the pill sometimes doesn’t work over a certain weight limit

The condom was still inside me when I took the pill i didn’t know until hours later, I have an appointment for an STD check up on Monday and I will ask all this but I’m scared. What if I am pregnant I don’t want to be a mom i know i should had not have sex but it was a mistake I wish I had never done. Before anyone asks I’m 18, I have seen every video about a pregnancy scare and I always laughed at those but being in those shoes makes me want to just forget everything

First of all relax, seriously, stressing yourself out will only lead to psychosomatic pregnancy sickness and stuff. If you used a condom and took the pill regardless of the condom situation you should be fine. Also remember that the pill has a very small chance of not working BUT even raw sex doesn’t always end up with a kid. I’d say just try and stay calm until the doctors appointment ❤️

Okok but is there still a chance that even if I am over the weight limit the pill will still work?

There is a high chance it will work I think. At least, AI overview said that a “slight decrease in effectiveness” was possible for people with bmi over 30.
