I did long distance for two years, and my biggest piece of advice is to not give up!! By that I mean: make crafts for them (mail them!) plan video calls, long distance movie nights, couples games! Write letters! There are so many ways to show your love while being apart

Know exactly when your phone calls will be. Schedule them and regularly call/video call whatever

Sometimes having a phone call every night isn’t the right idea. If you ever feel overwhelmed by the amount of time spent on the phone each day, just express your concern. Anyone that absolutely demands hours of your time every single night is not healthy to keep around
