It definitely contributes but also I’m all down for marrying your friends if a partner doesn’t make you happy. The issue is the people who don’t take lesbian seriously, not some ladies who want a big day with someone they love and wanna spend the rest of their life with, even if it is platonic

I mean my friend and I made a pact that if we’re not married by a certain age we get married for tax reasons. We wouldn’t kiss each other though lol

I totally understand that, but the “I’m so gay for her” and “she’s my lover, my boyfriend is the sidechick” are really not helping anyone’s case. I’m all for platonic marriage, but geez keep your lips away at least
