I don’t like using the term women or men casually. I always refer to my friends and peers as boys and girls. But if I’m talking about someone significantly older or discussing people in a formal setting I say men and women. So sometimes you might hear me say “that man….” And “my girls…”

As someone in my 20’s, referring to people also in their 20’s, I use those men and boys exactly as interchangeably as women and girls. I don’t mean it to be disrespectful in any way, I just mentally make very little distinction between those words
