Absolutely a red flag! That’s code for “I’m a racist MF but I’ll make an exception to F you”

Yes, especially if he didn’t say anything else about them aside from that

No unless you care about politics extremely. Being a poc has nothing to do with it lmao

Why is that a red flag? If you don’t think people are allowed to have their own opinions then I think you’re the red flag

He's allowed to have his own opinions but if his opinion was "yeah everyone is equal and I believe in improving the lives of oppressed people" he wouldn't be afraid to share that, would he 🤔

Umm what? So she got the idea he doesn’t think everyone is equal because he didn’t wanna share his political beliefs?? What is wrong with America lmao…. You can’t jump to conclusions from him not sharing his political beliefs.

You’re literally putting words in that guys mouth he never said anything about equality and honestly that’s probably why he doesn’t share his beliefs because people go crazy

My point was that if his beliefs were unobjectionable, he would not be trying to keep OP from learning them

You could argue that everyone’s believes are objectionable then. Any person with any belief different than someone else’s will object to the other’s beliefs, right?

it’s more that i told him im a woman of color and i asked him who he voted for and he quite literally said “i don’t talk to people about politics.” and i was like uh that can’t be a very good answer and he was like “i don’t have a problem with people of color.” but that’s not what i asked LOL. so it gives red flag which is unfortunate bc we got along on diff levels.

Also, like, no. I could disagree with someone without objecting to their views if it was something like... funding highways or train systems. I have my own opinion but other opinions are just as valid. The issue is that people like this will whip out an opinion like "I just think minorities are whiny" and expect that to be okay

Just date a same race individual if this is such an important thing for you lmao. At least half of the white dudes you encounter probably have some racist views about men of your race 😂

Then if you have a son and not a daughter what are they going to do with a child who’s black, Indian, ect

If you were to have a child with such a man who was secretly racist towards other men of your race basically what do you think happens when he has a child who isn’t white and a male of said race

I see where you’re coming from, I just wasn’t sure it was good to jump to calling him a red flag for not wanting to discuss it. But I can understand where you’re coming from

Right, my whole thing was that he said he didn’t wanna speak about it so we can’t jump to conclusions on what he meant by it. But I get it if for some people that’s too risky or they want to be able to talk about it.
