If an ex friend reached out after I consistently set a no contact boundary (politely), is it rude to not respond? It sounded genuine but this person was so mentally exhausting to be friends with no matter how many chances I gave her.

Since you have already set the boundary multiple times its def best to hold to it by not responding

No you set the boundary and she knows. Her violating the boundary is just further proof that she's not a good friend
