I think it is a good lesson. You learn to love people even if they have flaws, because everyone has flaws. Nobody is perfect.

The post says emotional abuse. Unless they’re insane most people aren’t gonna scream at you unless you trigger them. And it’s good to learn to be considerate and not try to trigger people. Like for example not staring at a homeless person or something. Or not talking about politics around someone with controversial opinions. It’s gonna trigger them. This is social decency basics and it’s not good to be proud of disregarding them like that.

The post said that if you don’t cut off family members it means you have unconditional love for them. That’s not true. You can learn to tolerate someone without having unconditional love for them. If you can’t tolerate someone who’s different from you then it’s a big problem
