Revised question I asked before: should comprehensive sex education classes teach students about sexual fetishes including reducing stigma and teaching students how to find safe spaces where they can indulge their feitshes when they turn 18? Would this
I’m a huge advocate for quality comprehensive sex ed, but my answer to this is no. There is no way to make this a comfortable topic to broach to 32 underage teenagers in a room.

I think teaching about sexual hazards on the internet is a good way to help kids be informed and safe without like teaching them ABOUT fetishes yk?

As a future teacher this sounds miserable to do and parents would riot. Also we don't really have room in the curriculum. My hometown had to fight to keep sex ed in schools and the school board would shut this down immediately

If anything I think we need to teach more women about their bodily autonomy. I’m taught more about a man’s ballsack than I am about my fucking uterus and what it does to me😭 I don’t want my child learning about some weird ass kinks and fetishes

Absolutely not. We need comprehensive sex Ed. We don’t even have that! Teaching fetishes is way too far.

Help reduce fetish bait on the internet? Like how people are pushing for sex education to rescue teen pregnancy and consent education to reduce sexual assault and so on and so forth?
