enough, and we stayed at his house. after i arrived he mentioned he was going out to eat with his friend. aita for getting upset? he’s offered to pay his friends food many other times. he offered after but in the past he had asked me to send him money. so i said no i don’t want to owe him. but still, i know said no, but i can’t help but feel upset.

after i straight up just said: “hey i know i can pay for my stuff, but id appreciate it if u took the bill every once in a while” but i feel like an asshole for asking. we both have stable jobs and a decent income.

another thing i want to note: i don’t know how relationships are. i’ve seen on social media where the man always takes the bill but ive asked people around me, and most cases it’s all 50/50 or the girl pays. and i don’t know, i just wanted to be taken out to dinner tonight. he’s currently out picking up his friend as i type this.
