Yup - as a lesbian it makes me feel so weird to hear straight women all but use “gay” as an insult to men

When I was in the army a gay soldier asked me if I thought he could beat my ass…I said sure why not. He said stop using gay to mean something lame or that you don’t like, cuz if you don’t imma do something you won’t like until you’re lame. From that moment on we became battle buddies.
