psychologically, people have kinks of things their minds want to make sense of, things that have been traumatic, or things that cause intense feelings, so it makes a lot of sense many women want extreme degradation and to be submissive during sex, while men (kind men who are respectful to women and understand their struggles) have kinks of the opposite.

Personally I like it because it shows me that the person I’m with is someone I can trust to listen to me and respect my boundaries, some people get pleasure from pain, and there’s something about being submissive/degraded that just feels comforting that I can’t really put into words

As long as you can acknowledge that this is a kink that stays between consenting adults, and you don’t try to push it onto people assuming that everyone else is into it, I don’t see any issue

sometimes it’s just your brain trying to make sense of things that don’t make sense or things that are cause intense feelings. also it’s okay to have these kinks as long as you do it with someone who wants to as well. in fact, it can be quite healing, that’s the point of kinks at their core. :) don’t feel bad about it, just do it respectfully
