I have genuine anatomical issues with regular condoms, would it be weird to j carry around female condoms rather than regular ones? Do women have a preference for female/male condoms?

What issues are you having? Is a size thing? Yiu could possibly find niche places that sell the specific size you need, but female condoms are much less effective

So female condoms aren’t nearly as effective as traditional male ones. And most women don’t have any experience with female condoms. I’ve never seen anywhere selling them myself

As a woman I honestly don’t know how to use a female condom

There’s a really good condom brand that my partner and I tried that gives you a measure for your girth size and can send you custom made conforms

female condoms don’t help with contraception in the same way. they are more for STI safety

Well in all honesty I’m on the girthy side, and regular condoms restrict blood flow somewhat significantly. But I appreciate the fyi about female condoms, I’m just trying to find a better alternative.

I was afraid of that, I picked a few female ones up from my uni that’s why I have em lol. It is what it is I suppose, I appreciate the heads up about effectiveness.

I mean don’t get me wrong I use regular condoms because I would rather be safe then sorry and I want the Lady to feel safe too, just wondering if these are better.

Yeah I’m on the girthy side and it restricts blood flow, I order larger condoms online but in the past they’ve arrived damaged and they’re costly so I’m somewhat hesitant

🙏🙏 we’ll survive, I don’t fuck unless I can afford the plan B anyway, but that’s literally plan b, not plan A yk?

Also plan b only works at certain weights and if she hasn’t already ovulated so very very risky

So it goes inside rather than on the penis? How does that fix your problem? I’m just curious as it feels like it would do the same thing

The elastic around regular condoms is super tight on me and restricts blood flow, this would, in all appearances, rest on the outside of the lips and not restrict the blood to my member

plan b also can cause a lot of negative side effects

Yeah I mean I was aware of the effects it has on hormones and that it can throw off a menstrual cycle like crazy and make her sick like that side effects sheet that’s damn near a blanket in that box is insane, I don’t like jump to it, I do my best to avoid it, but if she even feels like she might need it or something I’ll pay for it idc.

Yeah it’s not super effective. Honestly if you’re really struggling I’d go to a doctor and see their recommendations. I’ve never actually heard of anyone struggling with condoms because of blood flow. (Many have made that as an excuse but not genuinely). Plan B only works is the woman is under 150 pounds roughly as well. Plus it can interact with other medications. Obviously it’s not plan A but it’s not great for the health of the woman either. Even if you pay for it.

Another problem is it can be very uncomfortable for women though. And it’s very very easy to use them incorrectly. Looking up some new statistics it seems like using them perfectly is about 95% effective where normal condoms are 98% and not using them exactly right is 79%. It’s just a really high risk. It’s also seen as more difficult to put on, especially properly. They also cost significantly more than typical condoms which goes into the money problem again.

Noted on the weight, yeah no I’ve seen the damn blanket of side effects that’s in the box so I avoid plan B at all possible but if she event hints at wanting it I’ll pay for it. I mean it is what it is, I’m not tryna tmi on here but it does restrict the blood for me, though I personally wouldn’t buy it if like literally any other guy said that 😅😂 so I’ll j do what I’ve been doing and j making regular condoms work and/or ordering larger online.

Like I said doctors may have better suggestions about what’ll feel more comfortable!

Yeah I mean I got a few female condoms for free from my uni, hence why I posted this. I don’t think it’ll be my only plan on my next sexual encounter. I’ll ask if she’s comfortable and okay w it, if so, proceed with care and have a good time, if not, use a regular condom and slam an energy drink to keep the heart rate up🤣🤣

Well the problem is even if she IS okay with it that she probably won’t know how to put one on. Which increases the pregnancy risk anyways. It’s a multifaceted problem. I don’t know a single woman who’s ever actually used a female condom.

Touché touché. An instructional video for myself prior to any encounter and the informed consent of any potential partner would be paramount.
