Does anyone else also struggle with not looking/being “feminine” enough. No matter how girlie I try to dress or how much makeup I wear I feel like the odd one out when I look at other girls at campus. And having a slightly deeper voice makes it worse🫩

Not a woman but I grew up around women who were always deemed “masculine”(were African). What I learned from them was a different perspective on what femininity can look like. They were strong and powerful, with deep voices that commanded the home. I’m sorry the society you’re in doesn’t appreciate the full spectrum of femininity but know that you are perfectly feminine by so many standards

I used to rlly bad bc I have rlly small boobs and a square body, what I found is wearing clothes that look feminine on me helped a lot, it needs to suit your body type to bring out the femininity

Yeah, I remember being 10 years old and having this big realization that I’d never fit in with the other girls, and I was right

I don’t actually WANT to be feminine or at least not in the way that’s socially acceptable and expected, but I do want to be in the sense that it would make me feel like I’m not a massive fuck up of a person, being judged by both men and women for who I am

this ^^^ and i’ve found that being confident (or faking confidence) helps a lot! i recently stopped shaving my whole body, aside from my face, but i still wear feminine clothes pretty often and it’s a perfect combo. i also have small boobs and a square body but dressing for your body really helps lotsss

Bby start working out :( go for walks and try to eat only Whole Foods with no processed sugar, if you have sugar then make it something that you baked yourself or something with minimal ingredients (there’s brands that have 7 ingredients in it, it’s so much better for you, AND THEY ARE GOOD I PROMISE).

For me, it’s so much easier to start with diet which gives me more motivation. I can’t rlly diet rn cuz I’m pregnant and need the calories cuz I haven’t been eating a lot of food :/ I’m normally a good eater though. It might go along with your period cycle though, just keep going and reward yourself with something not food related!! Maybe order something off Amazon
