Realizing that my skin was fine but simply needed a boost of extra hydration. Like my skin is clear all the time but I realized I don’t exfoliate or hydrate often so having dry skin sucked no matter how “clear” it looks far away

Honestly? Figuring out what my skin needed rather than just doing whatever products other people were using

For me personally to stop listening to all the trends. And tbh I just use a face wash and moisturizer and sunscreen. No special eye creams or anything of that nature. I also use Tretnoin to treat mild breakouts that my derm prescribed and it’s amazing.

A moisturizer recommended by my dermatologist and Differin has seriously saved my life and now my skin has significantly less acne and is smoother and softer. But now I don’t really know what to do with the skin discoloration and acne scars lol

Might seem like a silly question but how did you go about doing that?

Oh no it’s absolutely not a silly question! What kind of issues do you have? Acne? Oily skin? Dry skin? Discoloration?

It’s particularly bad when I grow my facial hair out

Yeah with facial hair it makes things a lot more difficult. So what do you do for skin care right now?

Fairly basic stuff, daily cleanse, moisturize, and exfoliate once a week
