Some people are nervous and smile. For me, if I smile, it’s an indication I think you’re attractive.

I’d say yes as long as it’s respectful. People need to interact with one another in person more in general. If she’s not into it and it was just being polite she’ll end the convo quickly🤷‍♀️. As long as you’re not dead set on getting a number or trapping her in a long convo it’s fine.
