it doesn’t matter. she’s sick and has been the er and clearly just not doing well. a partner shouldn’t save all the house work for their partner to come home to after almost dying (from a sickness she literally got from taking care of him). and also it’s the least he could do for her as a thank you for taking care of him and the house when he was sick.
