Have you asked her why she feels uncomfortable? I personally would also feel uncomfortable so I can give my own reasons if that would help.

Well unfortunately there’s lots to worry about, statistically speaking having a gun in the home greatly increases your chances of getting shot, accidentally or otherwise. On average having one in your home makes you much less safe compared to not keeping one in the home

Everyone’s said it multiple times here lol but have you asked her why she feels that way? Some people have negative histories with guns, my bf got rid of his pistol for me for that reason

Well did you ask why she’s not comfortable? Especially since you didn’t mention it I’d be uncomfortable too. It’s much more of a danger carry than just a hand held pistol. Are you only using it for hunting? Do you have it bc you just like it? Do you have it in a safe out of harms way?

So statistically, if you’re female and you get murdered, it’a usually by a partner or ex partner. Especially if you’re pregnant. If she discovered the gun after moving in… it’s probably not in a safe. The lack of gun safety measures (a safe) probably aren’t helping. On top of that, you’re here asking us to change her mind about what she’s comfortable with, which suggests that maybe you’re not doing a great job with the empathy and connection.
