I think this is more likely to happen with dumb people. It’s an affect of how people view social status, and if the only thing you value in yourself is your attractiveness and ability to not bring down the vibe, then those are the things you are going to value in other people.

Let’s be honest here. If you don’t have the latest Kendra Scott or “E Newton”, and don’t dress like them your automatically an outcast. You can talk to them yea, and they’ll be nice for a moment but as soon as something or someone catches their attention, you’re irrelevant all over again.
