Not a question but it’s actually so nuts to me that there are so many people who genuinely believe abortion is murder, and that women shouldn’t be able to have a choice of whether or not they go through something incredibly traumatic that-

People got no fucking idea what’s going on. I feel like we’ve taken 30 steps backwards as a country, or a world as a whole. People have sex. Why is it so secretive and shameful. That thing does not have sentience, it is not a person, it does not feel. It does not care if it’s removed

Changes their bodies forever. It’s maddening actually. The world just sees women as baby machines and they could not give less of a fuck about the PERSON that has to go through with carrying that whole ass child to term. It’s punishment. “Don’t have sex if you can’t deal with the consequences!” And men can just cum Willy nilly and don’t have to deal with Jack shit. Why is sex punishable? Such a strange, backwards ultra Christian conservative nightmare we are living in

“why is sex punishable” and its just people doing the thing for making babies and then being surprised when a baby is made and trying to kill it instead of being an accountable adult. actions have consequences and some of them involve babies, who are humans with a human right to life

You know what I’m terrified of? All those women supporting Lindsay Clancy. The way they find it “relatable” and that “I could have been me.” Those feminists show to me that there is no intention to stop at abortion. No, that’s not enough rights for women apparently. I do not want to live in a world where mothers have rights to kill their born children. There is scientific proof life begins at conception. That is a human which is one of us. That must be the hardline.

You people choose not to think outside of talking points. You don’t think at all about the context of everything bc you’ve never had to think long and hard about your place in the world. The fetus at conception is non sentient, it does not feel shit and does not care if it’s removed. Furthermore, as I said birth/pregnancy is EXTREMELY TRAUMATIC on the mind and body. So many women experience very unwanted thoughts of hurting themselves and their babies after birth, but no one gafs

Jesus Christ. I have no idea how adults still don’t understand the purpose of intrusive thoughts. You can’t avoid what you do not know. The urge people feel to jump near a height exists for you to avoid heights. This is a similar thing that happens when a child is born. The mother should understand that urge exists so she PROTECTS her children. You don’t need a therapist to understand this is how you should interpret intrusive thoughts.

But it’s completely clear that feminists will eventually want the RIGHT to give into these urges. And abortion is simply a step into that direction. This is why we need a hardline to stop this from happening and ruining our society.

Anonymous replying to -> #2 22h

Braindead again. Calling post partum psychosis “intrusive thoughts” is very clear of your understanding of how pregnancy and birth works. If anything, abortion PREVENTS this from happening, as women who know they are susceptible to experiencing this can choose not to have the baby. Do not butt in on women’s issues if you aren’t a woman lmao, or have an extreme level of understanding on women’s health.

And what you aren’t getting on top of all this, is limiting abortion access will increase the number of cases like this. When we take away one right of HEALTHCARE, it warrants further limiting of research for women/pregnancy, for empathy for mothers who experience horrific suicidal and homicidal tendencies after childbirth. That’s just how it works in our society. Once again, if you want to limit abortion, go out and advocate for women’s health.

1. I was not talking about post partum psychosis, instead I talked about urges many women commonly feel after birth. 2. Don’t be sexist. Men should be able to speak on women’s issues in the same way women can speak on men’s issues. Don’t silence people.

Because they often aren’t specific and leave it open to interpretation not by the doctors doing the saving, but for the people arresting them after the fact. Often doctors have to wait until a woman is actively dying from something like sepsis, something preventable with an earlier abortion, or possibly face legal consequences. Oh because these things are subjective! Sure, the professional could make their decision in the moment, but then what if they go to court? They could get ripped apart by other doctors with other opinions, high risk procedures the patient didn’t want they could’ve tried, etc. Doctors don’t want to risk their careers and possibly risk jail time for one specific case.
