It seems like all the women on this thread are telling you we’d like it to be called women’s rights, trans women do experience misogyny, and women’s rights include trans rights. Now maybe you are trying to be an ally but being an ally is about listening to women when they tell you what they want and then helping them fight for that future. This is the part where you should say, “okay thank you for educating me, I now understand why it’s called women’s rights and I will call it that.”
Yeah yeah fs I hear you and I never said I didn’t but I’m just saying like cmon, I feel like trans women are facing a different overall issue like the kind of person to be a miso is probably gonna be tphobe too so I feel like you should confront the more blanket and less severe issue which is against cis women
It is interesting the discrimination faced by trans vs cis women. Cis women usually face pressure to be put back in line as women. Trans women, in the mind of a misogynistic transphobe, aren't just disruptive, they're also traitors to manhood, larping as something they are not - which is morally obscene to them. They are seen as perverts, whilst cis feminists are simply seen as disruptive. The discrimination looks different, but is related by gender norms, so the struggle is similar.
