Anyone use the a period disk or cup? Please tell me ur honest opinion! Want to switch from tampons but im scared it’ll leak

I love my menstrual cup personally, super convenient. Tampons never really worked for me and made my cramps worse. And I love being able to leave it in for 10-12 hours without major worries

i love the cup and don’t wanna go back to pads/tampons but to be 100% honest it can get a bit messy. theres a bit of a learning curve and you get better at it (or just do it in the shower) but just a fair warning (also seeing *that* much blood at once can be a bit alarming)

I love the disk just make sure to get one with the string piece tho pull it out

i’ve tried both and i found cups easier to use. they’re easier to insert and get a good seal on. on heavy days, i make sure to empty it every time i go to the bathroom and wear period underwear just in case it leaks

It did leak a lot when I was first starting to use it, but I think I perfected the method now bc it barely leaks now. You just gotta make sure you get a good seal. And I’ve bought multiple off brand cups from amazon they all work the same🥴😅
