It's exciting that she wants kids, but how did she bring this up and even if she wants kids that doesn't necessarily mean that she would want kids with you so don't jump the gun yet

You could ask her out but mention nothing about the kids because that's not why you want to date her. Instead, tell her that you enjoy your friendship and that you think she's a good person and you are interested in pursuing things for and if that's something she would want as well.

Thank you for your reply! We just spent a full weekend together going to one of the nearby cities. She told me one day at dinner and it’s just stuck with me and I really don’t want to rush anything for sure especially because I value her friendship more than almost anyone’s.
