Why do people consider it embarrassing to wear a one piece bathing suit like I just have never been comfortable walking around in basically a bra and underwear around my family and randos. And since when is modesty a bad thing😭😭

Modesty isn’t a bad thing and neither are one piece bathing suits. But it’s weird to label it as being more modest than others when it’s swimwear. I just haven’t found cute one pieces that fit. I like bikinis bc you can buy separate pieces

I don’t think it’s embarrassing I just don’t fit into one piece bathing suits. Don’t think it has anything to do with modesty your only covering up slightly more (depending on the one piece)

For me it’s bc I don’t like something clinging to my body that tightly, like i personally feel less immodest than when in a bikini. So that’s why I feel personally too embarrassed to wear. But why people find it embarrassing as like a concept? Idk just judgmental ig

I don’t think it’s embarrassing or anything like that but I find it extremely difficult to find a one piece that fits properly.

I always thought it was a more modest thing as a guy, like you don’t want to show too much skin

Nah it definitely depends, a one piece that’s a thong, low cut, and has cut outs is definitely less modest than an athletic bikini that is full coverage

Totally get that and honestly hate the feeling of them too but hate the feeling of wearing a bikini more😂… also this is very specific to me but at the beach I would always get saltwater rashes on my stomach unless I wore a one piece so there’s that too but it’s rlly interesting hearing ur take too

Yeah. When I want something more modest I go for swim shorts and like one of the longer sports tops. I just can’t get over the way one pieces cling to my skin. And when you need to go use the bathroom ? It’s like peeling offa layer of thick soggy skin. 😭Ugh no nothing against them but I’m never doing that again. The day I came of age to wear a two piece was a good day

Yeah I usually can’t wear those types of bathing suits bc they never fit right, boobs to big and everything else too small type thing

It’s a bathing suit one isn’t more modest than the other
